COSMOS on CeBit 2004 Visit COSMOS ( Community Online Services and MObile Solutions) Hall 12, booth B26, O2 Germany Mobile Kommunikation German Publication about added value, new technologies and services for mobile Devices   research mobilemedia europe in cooperation with the argonauts is taking part in the first UMTS research project in germany called COSMOS (Community Online Services and MObile Solutions). The main objective of the project is the mobile support of communities. The goal of our activities is the development of generic services and technologies for operating mobile communities. In view of that, we establish and evaluate two pilot communities in the domains Lifestyle and Healthcare. The COSMOS project is cooperatively conducted by the respective groups of the technical university of munich and the university of hohenheim and by O2 germany, Ericsson AG, and further partners. The project is financially supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research(BMBF) (working title: "community engineering", grant number: (FKZ:) 01HW0107 - 01HW0110).
